This honey has a milder flavour to it. It's crystallised already with a bit of a grain to it which people enjoy.

If you like your honey to:

  • spread on hot toast or crumpets without running everywhere
  • sweeten your tea or coffee
  • make into its own soothing hot drink

this would be a good honey for you!

The bees will have been foraging on the first flush of spring and early summer as the woodland flowers came into flower and early blossoms emerged in and around the woodlands.

Kaz trained as an engineer before the beekeeping bug took hold — she spent years working with beekeepers in the UK and New Zealand before she started keeping her own bees here.
