One of only 71 jars produced last summer from bees kept in a back garden at Bisley, Surrey. The perfect gift to celebrate someone (or something) special! They'd be one of only 71 people in the whole world lucky enough to eat it!
In 2021 Howard took honey twice from his bees, not much at either time, but both honeys were exceptional so are fully deserving of the Special Edition treatment. This one was taken mid July and tastes like pudding, reminding me of apple pie crusts and lemon meringue! It's texture is rich, easy to spread thickly on toast and has a zing to it (that's the lemon meringue bit!).
Our Special Edition jars are bigger than normal, and all dressed up and boxed in black and gold. I've handwritten on every box and jar 'from Howard's back garden bees, Bisley Surrey. 1 of 71" so there's never any doubt about how rare it is!
