Raw Honey from Elkington, Northamptonshire UK (fruity)
Raw honey is pure honey, straight from the bees that Neil keeps on a farm in Northamptonshire, UK in the lee of Honey Hill. I loved meeting Neil and talking bees, he's been keeping them man and boy and all the money he raises from selling his honey goes to Nelsons, a children's bereavement charity. We are thrilled to be selling this completely raw honey: untouched by human hands and with a naturally fruity flavour note to it.
This honey illustrates exactly why we like jarring single harvests, as this fruity honey from June, is very different to the creamy fresh honey (also taken in June) and the warming caramel one from July. When left as the bees made them, honeys really are like nature's very own fingerprints.
