This pure, raw honey is straight from the bees that Bridget keeps on an organic farm in Burton Flemming, East Riding of Yorkshire, UK. It was taken after the field bean harvest and definitely has some oil seed rape in it too which makes it so pale and creamy. It has a natural caramel flavour note to it and people say it reminds them of their childhood and how honey used to taste.
Bridget inherited the bees from her partner, Jeremy, who sadly died (we put his name with Bridget's on the jars as it still feels like a joint effort to her!). She's embraced it all, learnt to drive the tractor and trailer and with help from Jeremy's beekeeping friends.
