Make any breakfast special! Three British honeys perfect for breakfast & straight from the hive, with the story behind each limited-edition honey included. This gift set of limited edition honey is for all those who love spoiling themselves at breakfast; they're unique flavours make each a perfect companion to toast, porridge and yogurt!

These are raw British honeys from beekeepers I visited on my honey-buying tour around the UK. Each honey is limited edition and impossible to replicate with the taste, colour and texture reflecting the flowers the bees visited to make the honey.

In this breakfast collection is a fruity, floral and nutty honey:

  • The honey I love on porridge is from Staines upon Thames in Surrey and a beekeeper called Eduard Birsan. This is a fruity honey with the flavour and aroma of raisins.
  • My favourite on toast is a Berkshire honey from Matt Aldridge and the teaching apiary for the Vale and Downland Beekeeping Association in Ardington. It’s a sweet floral honey which is lovely spread thick on toast!
  • The honey from Kaz Powell in Pulborough, Sussex, is good in yogurt. It smells and tastes like rice pudding and very creamy. It’s the nuttiness of rice that explains why we’ve described this as a nutty honey.

Each of the honeys are raw, untreated and unheated and have just been taken from the hive, spun from the frame and run through a sieve.

Each one is naturally crystalising so If you prefer runny honey then gently warm it, not higher than 30 degrees (the temperature in the hive) and it will go back to its runny state keeping the enzymes etc intact.. Alternatively just spoon it on as it is - the taste is still delicious!

140 g x 3 jars presented in a gift box that includes a letter telling you more about each beekeeper and honey.

Honey isn’t suitable for children under 12 months.
