Fresh honey from Rudston, Yorkshire

Fresh honey from Rudston, Yorkshire

from 5.75

This honey is also from Jeremy Smith, this time from bees kept on Thorpe Hall Estate, Rudston, nr Filey on the Yorkshire coast. The hives are set in a quiet spot by woodlands and arable farmland. This honey was taken off at the time of the oilseed rape harvest and has made a buttery, creamy, milky, intense honey with a long taste. People love this honey at tastings - nearly as much as bees love the oilseed rape which gives them many of the essential amino acids the young bees need to grow!

Our jars of raw honey make perfect treats for the family, or a lovely ‘thank you’ present for someone; and especially if they’re health conscious or hayfever sufferers as a spoonful of honey a day has been shown to make significant improvements to our levels of good gut bacteria!
