Little Legs' is in intensive care

Little Legs' hive looks smaller, not bigger this week.  Hardly any buzzing around at the entrance despite it being a nice day.  Little Legs is still there though, with 2 frames of sealed brood; perhaps the patches are about the same size as last week - or I could just be being hopeful....  I've went into medical emergency mode: I've narrowed the hive entrance (the equivalent of making the bed with 'hospital corners') and I've given them a rapid feeder with 1kg of sugar dissolved in water - it's really syrupy, and like being wired up to a drip for them. It should take the strain off the hive a bit while they get over this tricky stage.  I'll be checking the patient during the week and keeping the feeder topped up, will report on progress next weekend
